From Vision to Impact: 10 Startups Powering India’s Transformation

Our Journey: When my IIT Madras classmate, Biju Baby and I returned to India after 25 years in Silicon Valley, we had a simple belief: Sustainability and now AI was transforming manufacturing; It is possible to lead the world in both sustainability and profitability. We just needed the right software to make it happen.

What we’re Building: At BACUTI, we use AI to analyze ERP data and help manufacturing companies:
→ Reduce emissions while improving their bottom line
→ Calculate and reduce Product Carbon Footprint across Scope 1, 2, and 3
→ Win RFPs and command premium prices through sustainability leadership
→ Optimize operations and supply chain

We’re privileged to work with forward-thinking companies in steel, auto-components, chemicals, and semiconductors who are committed to making a difference.

What’s Next: We’re expanding our focus to help our customers with process optimization and supplier risk reduction. Every day, we learn something new from the teams we work with.
