Development, Security, Operations Engineer

Role: Dev Sec Ops Engineer

Experience: 3-6 years

Location: Chennai, India

Responsibilities:

Infrastructure Management:
1. Design, implement, and manage scalable and reliable infrastructure using cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP).
2. Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes.
Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD):
3. Establish and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to enable reliable software delivery.
4. Automate testing processes to ensure code quality and reliability.
Monitoring and Logging:
5. Implement monitoring solutions to detect and address issues proactively.
6. Configure and manage centralized logging systems for effective troubleshooting.
Security:
7. Implement and maintain security best practices throughout the development and deployment lifecycle.
8. Conduct regular security audits and collaborate with other teams to address vulnerabilities.
Containerization and Orchestration:
9. Implement and manage containerization platforms (e.g., Docker) and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes).
10. Optimize containerized applications for performance and scalability.
Disaster Recovery and High Availability:
11. Design and implement disaster recovery plans to ensure system resilience.

Technical Skills

1. Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, or Ruby).
2. Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
3. Expertise in containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
4. Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
5. Deep understanding of infrastructure & appln. deployment security best practices
6. Demonstrated success in designing implementing scalable & reliable infrastructure.
