UI/UX Designer 

Role: UI/UX Designer 

Experience: 2-5 years

Location: Chennai, India

Responsibilities:

1. Develop a deep understanding of target customers and internalize product vision and strategy.
2. Develop sitemaps, user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes on Figma.
3. Rapidly iterate on prototypes and designs based on feedback.
4. Share prototypes, assets, and designs with engineers, ensuring there is no knowledge gap.
5. Communicate complex concepts, the rationale for design decisions, design ideas, and prototypes to different audiences including developers.
6. Conduct UX audits and tests; Iterate over existing designs; Optimize customer experience continuously.
7. Provide feedback on existing or newly developed customer/user experiences to the engineering team.
8. Stay current with similar products, features, & industry trend; incorporate them into design as appropriate.

Required skills and experience

1. 2+ years of proven experience in UX Design, UI Design, or a similar role. Preferably with SaaS products 
2. Previous experience implementing the design thinking process and a solid grasp of user-centered design (UCD), planning, and conducting user research, user testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability, and accessibility concerns.
3. Has previously worked with or managed developers.
4. Strong, referenceable portfolio of representative design work and the UX development process
5. Ability to communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions clearly and effectively to teams and clients.
6. Proficient in design software like Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, XD
7. BSc in Design, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred, but not mandatory)
